A native of Southampton County, Virginia, Dr. Brown takes great pride in her roots and the values of faith, family, community, compassion, and service that have shaped both her life and career.
Dr. Brown is a proud graduate of Southampton Public Schools and continued her academic journey at Virginia State University, where she earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees, before earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry in Nashville, Tennessee. Her educational background, paired with decades of hands-on experience in dentistry, has allowed her to build a career centered on helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles in a welcoming and supportive environment.
At the heart of Dr. Brown’s life is her strong Christian faith. Her relationship with God serves as a guiding foundation for how she lives, leads, and cares for others. She approaches dentistry as more than a profession — she considers it an opportunity to serve others with compassion, kindness, integrity, and purpose. These deeply rooted beliefs are reflected in the atmosphere she strives to create at Phoenix Family Dentistry, where every patient is treated with dignity, respect, and genuine care.
